How It Started
2019
The Idea
After a near-miss at Laguna Seca, founder Alex Rodriguez realized recreational riders needed the same data insights that professional teams use. The idea for RVN was born in a hospital waiting room.
2020
First Prototype
Working nights and weekends, the team built the first RVN device in a garage. Initial testing with local track day groups showed immediate promise and demand.
2021
Beta Launch
Released to 100 beta testers across 12 race tracks. The feedback was overwhelming - riders were setting personal bests and riding safer within weeks.
2022
Series A Funding
Raised $15M in Series A funding to scale production and expand the team. First 1,000 units shipped to customers worldwide.
2024
Global Expansion
Now serving 50,000+ riders across 127 countries. Emergency detection feature has triggered 23 life-saving responses.
